Protecting Children, young people and Adults at risk is everybody’s responsibility. Our Cathedral Cluster Parishes are committed to the safety of all children and adults.

All children and adults who come to our Parishes have the right to feel safe and to be safe.

This document is a collection of policies and practices that have been established in the Parish to ensure that the Parish is a safe, supportive and friendly environment for children and adults at risk.

New child safe standards to strengthen child safety commenced in Victoria on 1st July 2022. This current document is a second revision of our policies and practices (February 2025), based on those new child safe standards.

We trust you will find this collection of policies and practices informative of our care for children, young people and adults at risk and at the same time encouraging of the responsibility of us all to protect vulnerable persons.
